Manufacturing Facilities
Operation in today’s LCD business is about capacity, communication, efficiency, cycle time and quality. We have them all under one roof. The manufacturing plane is located in the Bao’an district of Guangdong province, China, about 90 minutes from Hong Kong.
The 63,000 sq m manufacturing space houses 3 state of the art LCD manufacturing lines capable of producing 150,000 pairs of 14〞×16〞glass substrate per month equivalent to 15 million pieces of LCD panel a month.
The plant’s design has taken the necessary expansion for at least the next 3 years into consideration, especially in the area of LCD modules. As at the beginning of 2008, the plant is able to produce about 5.5 million pcs of COG products per month..
Jetup has invested in the ERP systems (gradually to be implemented by end of 2008), which provide better real-time visibility and control to the entire manufacturing process. Allowing materials to be planned, purchased, tracked and finished goods to be delivered to customer within a very respectable cycle time.
